Translation

In council it has been resolved and decided that the honorable director general and councilors of New Netherland shall travel tomorrow to the village of Gravesand on Long Island to decide, if it is possible, the long existing dispute regarding the boundaries of the aforesaid village and Anthony Jansz, Robbert Pinoyer and others, in the presence of some eminent and impartial Englishmen. Dated as above.
