I, the undersigned Laurens van Ruyven, commissary, hereby acknowledge to have received from Jacob Jansz Huys, skipper on the galiot Nieuwer Amstel, for the account of the Company, the following items:

The following is for the private account of the honorable lord director-general:

In acknowledgment of the truth thereof I have signed this with my own hand on the island of Curacao in Fort Amsterdam, 8 May 1660.
