Indian Villages Paths, Ponds, and Places, Kings County . James Kelly, 1946

This map by Brooklyn Borough Historian James Kelly, shows paths created and used by Native Americans, along with several Native American settlements.   Subsequently European colonists would have used them, and later expanded or incorporated them into their settlements.
