[ 66 ] Interrogatory of Martin Bierkaker,[1] conducted at the request of the officer of Fort Orange and the village of Beverwijck before all the magistrates.

Henderick Pietersen, plaintiff, against Tjerck Claessen, defendant.The plaintiff demands payment for a certain horse sold to him, the time of which expired more than a year ago.The defendant admits the debt.The court orders the defendant to pay the sum demanded within the space of one month and to furnish sufficient sureties for the payment to the satisfaction of the plaintiff and in addition to pay the costs of the suit, estimated at /18:—.
