Pieter Bronck, plaintiff, against Adriaen Janssen van Leyden, defendant.The plaintiff demands payment of the sum of ƒ180:- which the defendant has owed him for two years for beer delivered to him.The defendant being unable to appear on account of his illness and having asked the court messenger to appear for him, admits the debt and asks six weeks’ delay of payment.The court, considering the [ length of ] time [ that the money has been due ], condemns the defendant to pay the plaintiff the sum of ƒ180:- demanded within the space of 14 days, under penalty of attachment.
Pieter Bronck, plaintiff, against Arent vanden Berch, defendant.The plaintiff demands payment of the sum of ƒ72:10:-.The defendant admits the debt and offers to pay the same within the space of 14 days.The court, having heard the confession and promise of the defendant, condemns him to pay the said sum of ƒ72:10:- to the plaintiff within the space of 14 days.
Pieter Bronck, plaintiff, against Pieter Wollebrant, defendant.The plaintiff demands payment of ƒ68:-.The defendant admits that he owes all but ƒ24 of said sum.The defendant refusing to swear to his statement and the plaintiff taking the oath, the court orders the defendant to pay the aforesaid sum of ƒ68:- within the space of six weeks.

Frans Barensen, former magistrate, appearing before the court, requests payment of his honorarium, amounting for two years to the sum of ƒ300:—, which sum the honorable director general promised to pay to each magistrate serving on the bench.The magistrates, considering the nature of the promise, promise to pay the ƒ300:- demanded as soon as the state of the treasury will permit.
